Sympathy Iris

Sympathy Iris

Hi friends. Vera here. Last week, I was playing with Climbing Iris Layering Stencil and what can I say, I love creating with it so much, that I ended up making another card. And, since this week am a bit swamped with work and a challenge that I set up for myself, I figure I go ahead and share the card here, even though they're repeat of same set I just used last week. But, in my defense I feel like the card has totally different feeling.

I actually pretty surprise at how much I love the way this card turned out. I used light purple cardstock for the panel and using the tone on tone purple for the flowers, really make the flower pop. I don't know how to quite explain it, but when you see the card in person, the flower really stands out. I used Parisian BluePeriwinkleSpring VioletLemon DropDolled Up and Soft Garden. I also used Spring Violet to ink up the edges of the panel.

For the sentiment, I used one of the sentiment from Belated Iris set. And, I added Pixie Pink Sparkling Clear Sequin and some enamel drops for embellishment.

That's all for me today, friends. See you in July! I know, right, we're already on the last week of June!! Happy summer!
