Morning Glory Cheer

Morning Glory Cheer

Hi friends. Vera here.  Spring always got me excited to see how my plants are doing. I am by no means a gardener, but I dabble in trying to grow some flowers on our backyard. While I am waiting for the real flowers to bloom, I got my flower fix by playing with The Ton sets.

Today, I am showcasing Morning Glory Cheer Layering Stencil.

To start, I inked up the stencil with Azurite, Deep Sapphire, and Olive.  For the center of the flower I used Copic markers.

Arrange all the pieces on the card base. I accidentally smear an ink on my card base, so since I hate to waste cardstock, I decided to use patterned paper to cover it up. Anyone still use patterned paper? Hah! It feels like  my stash of patterned paper just sit there collecting dust. Anyway,  adhere all the pieces and for the sentiment I used a couple of the sentiments from Morning Glory Cheer stamp set. I also stamped some of the swirlies that came with this stamp set. Finish by adding some enamel drops.

Hah, I actually kind of proud of myself on this card, that I was able to make myself use deep colors as I tend to like light and pastel on my card. This feels bold to me. Anyhooo, I hope you all enjoy today's card. Till next time and wherever you are, may something good happened to you this week. Cheers!
