Thinking of You - Carnations
Happy Monday!! Brenda here with a "thinking of you" card featuring the Carnation Mini and Carnation Stem Layering Stencil Sets!!
I started by die-cutting the Mini Carnation (twice) and Carnation Stem Coordinating Dies from white cardstock and stenciling the Mini Carnation and Carnation Stem Stencils with Rose Quartz, Deep Blush, Wine and Soft Garden inks.
The Posy Bouquet Coordinating Dies were cut from white cardstock and stenciled with the Posy Bouquet Layering Stencils using Periwinkle, Miami Cool and Deep Sapphire, Beach Blondie, Soft Garden and Bright Fern inks.
The Rose Leaves Stencils were stenciled onto white cardstock using Soft Garden, Bright Fern and and Deep Emerald inks and cut out with their Coordinating Die.
For the background, I die-cut the largest Striped Edge Nested Die from white cardstock and blended the edges with Deep Blush ink. The second largest die in the Rectangle A2 Nested Die Set was cut from another panel of white cardstock and adhered to the blush layer with liquid glue. The flowers and leaves were arranged and adhered with liquid glue.
The sentiment, from the Easy Expressions: Just Because Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Deep Sapphire ink. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam squares. Sky Blue Opaque Gems finish off the card and add a touch of sparkle.
