Hi all. Vera here. For today, we're switching things a bit and I'll share a non floral card. The set I am featuring today is the Great Wave Stencil set.

I have to admit that I wasn't quite sure about this set as I tend to be intimidated by scenic sets. But, as I play with this set, I was surprise at how much I end up liking it. It reminds me of the Asian style artwork that my parents' friends used to have at their houses. 

I used Caribbean Turquoise, Trunk and Smoky Quartz for the coloring. And, I almost cut the image and adhere it to color cardstock, but then my CAS loving heart decided to keep it the way it is. All I end up doing was taking a silver marker and draw the outline. Finish with that I added sentiment from Baroque Frame set stamped with Smoky Quartz.
