Sending Hugs - Manicured Mums
Happy Monday, crafty friends!! Brenda here with a floral "sending hugs" card featuring the Manicured Mums Layering Stencil Set!!
I started by stenciling the Manicured Mums Stencils onto white cardstock with Rosy Peach, Peach Puff, Strawberry Tart, Meadow and Olive inks. I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.
For the background, I die-cut the Single Plaid Coveplate Die from white cardstock and adhered it to a panel of pale blush cardstock. The Double Stitched Oval Coverplate Die was cut from white cardstock and I blended Strawberry Tart ink onto the second largest oval so it would match my ink blended mums. It was adhered to the background, along with the mum die-cut.
The sentiment, from the Easy Expressions: Just Because Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Strawberry Tart ink. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die, long with three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue, then adhered to the front of the card. I scattered some sequins from the Summer Soiree Mix to finish off the card and add a bit of shine.
