Rainbow Hydrangeas
Hi there friends. Vera here. Today I am showcasing Hydrangea Garden Layering Stencil. What can I say, Hydrangeas is one of my favorite flowers. I just love them. I've been trying to grow them for years. This year I finally have a success, in a sense that since I got them in February they're still growing. Though with this heat, I am trying to keep them hidden in shadow. Anyway, while I am trying to get the real flower to flourish, I have no problem getting them flourish on my card. :)

For this card, I used Deep Peony, Lavender, Hot Tourmaline, Lime Twist, Lemon Drop and Cherry for the flowers. Soft Ash for the leaves. I applied the color diagonally over the stencil with light pressure for the base color and added more ink and pressure as I go to the next layer.

Then I decided to add scallop frame using Inner Scallop Nested Dies. I did 3 layers of the frame and adhere them together to create extra thickness. I figure this is easier than adding foam adhesive to the thin frame. Add sentiment from 2nd Ed. Fill It Sentiment stamped with Noir.

Trim the hydrangea panel slightly smaller than the card base and adhere it to the card. Finish by adding a couple birds from Nesting Peonies and some enamel drops.
I don't know about you, but I love creating anything that's rainbow color. This one just makes me happy, I hope this card helps sparks some joy in you as well.

That's all I have for today friends. Till next time.
