Happy Holidays - Poinsettia Wishes
Hello, friends and happy Wednesday!! Brenda back with a Christmas card featuring the stunning Poinsettia Wishes Layering Stencil Set and Coordinating Die!!

I started by stenciling the Poinsettia Wishes Layering Stencils onto white cardstock two times with Rosy Peach, Peach Puff, Grapefruit, Strawberry Tart, Jade and Basil Mojito inks. The Coordinating Die was used to die-cut the images, then they were splattered with diluted white bleed-proof ink.

The background was created with the Gingham Plaid Layering Coverplate Die Set. The layers were die-cut from mint, white and light pink cardstock before being adhered to an A2 white card base. Diluted gold watercolor paint was splattered onto the background. Once dry, the poinsettia and foliage die-cuts were arranged and adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment, from the Ribbons Holiday Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Jade and Basil Mojito inks. "Holidays" was cut out with the Coordinating Die and "happy" was trimmed into a narrow strip. Both were popped up with foam tape. Metallic Gold Dew Drops were added to the centers of the poinsettia and this card was finished.

I absolutely LOVE this unexpected color combo for Christmas!! Isn't it so elegant?!?
That does it for me today!! Have a terrific Wednesday!!
