Cat & Pansies

Hi there. Vera here and today am sharing a card that combine my love of animals & flowers. Perfect combination in my book.

For my card am using Hello Kitty Layering Stencil set and Pansy Cluster Layering Stencils. I start by inking up the cat directly on the card base. I place it kind of in the middle to give room for the flowers underneath. To color the cat I used Smoky Quartz & Matcha for the eyes.

As you can see I got a little bit of ink on the card base, so I just trim the card a bit to get rid of the inked edge. For the pansies I used Azurite, Deep Sapphire, Lemon Drop, Matcha and Evergreen. Done with the coloring, die cut the pansies using Coordinating Pansy Cluster die. Adhere the flowers with foam adhesive.

When done, I feel it still not quite right, so I ended up using my Copic markers to add some more shading on the flowers and add detail on the eyes. Finish by adding sentiment from Rose Patch set and add some enamel drop.
