Birthday Lantern

Birthday Lantern

Hi friends. Vera here. Wow, it amaze me that the first quarter of the year already flew by. Anyway, I am here today to showcase the recently released Special Day Lanterns Layering Stencils.

I always love lantern as it has like nostalgic vibe for me personally. For this card, I used Lemon Drop and Vanilla Frosted Cupcake ink for the lantern itself. Then for the flower I used Raspberry, Wild Berry, Caribbean Turquoise and Matcha. For the candle I used Rosy Peach. Die cut the pieces using Special Day Lanterns Grouped Coordinating Die.

Directly on the card base, inked up a frame to anchor the lantern. You can die cut a rectangle using one of The Ton dies or using removable tape as a mask. Adhere the lanterns to card base using foam adhesive. For the sentiment, I chose a sentiment from Rose Patch set. Add some mix size enamel drops and voila.

I plan on playing with this set more as I feel like there's so much I can do with this set. However, this is all I have for today. So, stay tune. :) Till next time and wishing you all a lovely day. Cheers.
